Scientifically speaking there is no such thing as good luck or bad luck. However many people around the world believe black cats bring bad luck especially when they cross your path. Black cats arent unlucky at all.
Cultural symbolism and puritanical propaganda have propelled black cats into the spotlight for better or worse. Black cats originally actually date back to Ancient Egypt. But there is no such thing in reality.
