Cat's Eye Movie Review
25 stars out of 4.
Cat's eye movie review. On Metacritic the film has a score of 70 based on reviews from 12 critics. Stephen King tales follow a cat into a smokers clinic onto a penthouse ledge and into a girls Drew Barrymore bedroom. Eye of the Cat was released in 1969 and was directed by David Lowell Rich.
Cats Eye is an anthology of three Stephen King short stories two of which were previously published in print in the Night Shift collection Quitters Inc and The Ledge. Cats is a horror. As we approach the novels 30th anniversary its hard to think of many characters who have endured pain like Atwoods.
There is quite a bit of creep factor here in a lot of ways. The pacing is great and the direction is. Production values are very good and this transfer does it justice.
With Drew Barrymore James Woods Alan King Kenneth McMillan. Cats Eye follows the three sisters Hitomi Rui and Ai Kisugi. All three of the stories in Cats Eye depend on special effects.
Cats Eye also known as Stephen Kings Cats Eye is a series of three short stories written for screen for actress Drew Barrymore by Stephen King. The second story is easily the best of the 3 but overall still a fun watch. The special effects are effective and understated allowing the foreground to be occupied by some of our basic human fears of pain for loved ones of falling from a great height of suffocation.
Cats Eye is one of my favorite Stephen King related films. The stories are united by the appearance of a cat as well as Drew Barrymore Everyone Says I Love You Scream the stars of the third and final story. Seven Deaths in the Cats Eye is one of my top giallos now.
